Lobster Half served with thin linguini in a fresh tomato sauce

This was an elegant but simple meal we had in a restaurant in Rome a few nights ago.  I thought that this would be a great dish for a special visitor when you have limited time available for cooking. In San Diego, you can have fresh lobsters steamed
for you at Point Loma Seafood Company.

Gary cuts the lobsters in half, brushes them with a little olive oil and heats on the grill for 5 minutes with the shell side down (to hold the juices in).  Just boil some pasta and make a simple fresh sauce.

Here is a sauce recipe from an earlier post.

Serve with salad and a baguette.

You can probably accomplish this with €18 per person even in San Diego.
