Several years ago, I discovered Poke in Hawaii. I have become increasingly interested in eating poke and now making my own! This recipe is built on inputs from other Poke lovers and my own concoction. I hope you enjoy it!
- 1 lb. sashimi grade tuna, cubed
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon tan sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha
- 1 teaspoon wasabi
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 3 tablespoons seaweed salad
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 1 teaspoon red salt
Add the cubed tuna to the remaining ingredients. Chill and serve!
